Rep. Lauren Boebert, the Colorado Republican, went viral on social media last night when she posted her response to AOC’s infamous Met gala dress that said ‘Tax the rich.’ Boebert’s dress was inspired by the chant that is sweeping the nation, Let’s go, Brandon.

She added a caption to her post that said, “It’s not a phrase, it’s a movement!”

AOC said when she wore her dress “And we said, we can’t just play along, but we need to break the fourth wall and challenge some of the institutions, and while the Met is known for its spectacle, we should have a conversation about it.”

AOC and the Dems got crushed in Tuesday’s election and not just in Virginia. In New Jersey, Seattle and Texas the Dems saw sweeping losses. AOC and the far-left shoulder much of the blame after holding up a bipartisan infrastructure bill for months on the hope of passing a bigger spending bill.

Joe Manchin had to publicly tell them to go pound sand causing the far-left to cave wasting what all consider Biden’s most important year, his first year. It’s all downhill from here for the Dems who will need a miracle to keep Congress.

From The Hill:

Democratic lawmakers are scrambling for a path forward after Tuesday’s disappointing election results in Virginia, New Jersey and New York.

The enthusiasm of Republican voters and a decisive shift among independents toward the GOP are troubling developments for Democrats who now see their congressional majorities in real danger.

Republicans say their victories in Virginia and elsewhere are sending a clear message to Democrats that they have “overreached” on their plan to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on social programs and to raise taxes on the wealthy.

But Democrats, by and large, are rejecting that analysis and claiming they lost because they didn’t move swiftly enough to move President Biden’s agenda through Congress.

After months of inaction on Biden’s social spending and infrastructure plans, they’re looking to break the impasse and pass both the budget reconciliation package and the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill through the House on Friday.
